View Full Version : Check you TU reports for the ** CLOSED ** dates!
Christine
It's really important that you dispute incorrect CLOSED dates as Fair Isaac apparently considers THAT date as the last time the account was late for DISCHARGED accounts.
Details are in the Credit Scoring forum at "Evidence of late payment" while not paid late (http://creditforum.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1772)

I noticed viewing my reports through Privacy Guard that I have two accounts that were included in my BK that have the correct headings as "included in BK", However, they are also being reported as open accounts. In addition, at the top of the Privacy Guard report, they list that I have 2 delinquent revolving accounts which can only be these.
On their on-line dispute websites, there is noway to dispute this information. Any idea on how I should handle this?

I just sent a pound of exhibits to the court about the PG crappy reports, they absolutely can't be used for any serious credit work.
The Responsice Memorandum has the details: http://forum.creditcourt.com/discus/messages/803/1963.html
You should buy the FICO TU report and look at the scorefactors to analyze how the scores rate the reporting, and of course to see what's actually reported to creditors.

Also, you could just dispute the open date with TU, but I recommend that you document what's going on - you may end up suing over this, and it'll be very handy to have proof of how Fair Isaac looks at this.
And I'll be happy to pay for the FICO report and provide some free help and a complementary account for CreditFactors.com (http://CreditFactors.com ) for the first person who provides me with a FICO report proving that TU's "open" reporting results in FICO scoring the account as currently delinquent.
