View Full Version : 2yr BK / Little Cash / 80-20 Home Loan

Good Morning:

A very good forum!

Have a BK 2 yrs old (filed) and 3 mos from 2 yrs (discharged). Have added a few small C/L cards (all paid on time) and one car loan (at 16.5%) also all payments on time. Already had one car loan, reaffirmed, with one late-30 in the last 6 months. This is the only new negative entry.

Have an old AMEX corporate account (co. filed bk) reporting collection as individual card. Have disputed several times and can't seem to get it off. Trying to get AMEX to remove it but cannot see how the Credit Bureaus are actually verifying something that is not true (corp vs. individual acct).

FICO is 660 with TU and 515-530 with Exp and Equifax.

Wanting to purchase home, have $75K income, about $4k ($2-300/mo) in cc debt (on 8 or 9 cards), 2 car loans ($30K owed, $777/mo). Other than that no real debt to speak of. Not alot of cash, less than $2000, with another $2000 in 401(k).

Anybody know of a good home loan with little down for about $150K, without mafia high interest?

I did countrywide loans with an 80/20 loan. The middle score had to be 660. I did not have to put any money down of course except closing costs. The 80 is fixed(mine is 6.something) and the 20% goes up and down with the wind pretty much but is around 8% or so right now. The only problem is the 20% is revolving which kills your cc ratio. I lost 84 points when it hit. I am not sure how old a BK would have to be but they will more than likely want any collections paid. IF you have children or know anyone that does sign up through them from upromise.com . this is a cool reward site that is majorly backed by the big boys. you get a % back from countrywide and if you go through a realtor there you get even more back. I ended up getting about $400 for my kids future college.
